That first fast pentatonic lick… I wouldn’t get caught up too much trying to play that exact as it seems – Lukather is just going absolutely berserk, so try to do the same.

The other fast lick at the end is pretty challenging as well. Steve has played on many genres but it’s plain to see through this solo that he’s a rocker at heart.

It’s a challenge trying to play Steve Lukather’s stuff because he is one of the best/most important guitarists of the last 100 years.
