Even Flow

I took a slightly different approach with this one. Instead of covering every studio overdub, I focused on the two main guitar parts – Stone Gossard and Mike McCready – as if you were playing the song live.

There are some extra guitar layers on the studio recording, including the clean chorus guitar and additional fills, but I’ve included the most important parts and separated them into two videos, with the guitars panned accordingly in the mix. I worked primarily from isolated guitar tracks from the original recording and recreated the parts as accurately as I could.

Backing tracks are available as well, so you can jam along playing either Stone’s or Mike’s part.
