Revolution is My Name

I’ve been doing this long enough now to realize that Pantera projects are the most fun. It’s so awesome to learn Dimebag riffs and licks because they’re so damn NASTY. Dime was cool enough to give a lesson of this song which covers a good 98% of the song.

I went by this but there is a minor discrepancy in bar 108. In the lesson he plays a G on the D string during the fast descending lick which logically makes sense, but in the recording he plays a G# note in its place. It sounds great either way so feel free to do it whatever way you want.

We sure got robbed of an unbelievable riff master/shredder who seemed like the coolest kind of guy as well. The best I can do is honour him through these videos. Enjoy!
