Tuning = 1/2 step down

I’ve been waiting far too long to break out this classic from the No More Tears album. Such a cool groove. Disclaimer: Yes I’m aware there is a video of Zakk himself playing it, but what he’s playing in the video and what is played on the album is a little different.

At least to my ears (it’s a little hard to hear exactly what he’s doing as the solo seems double tracked and there’s a bit of reverb and delay obscuring it. What I did is what I assumed Zakk did and just attack the Gm (F# if we’re being technical) pentatonic scale with all of his might. I tried to reflect that with this tab and I feel like it got it pretty darn close!
