Paradise City

By: Guns N' Roses

Many changes made to this one!

-Tempo is slower in the beginning

-Tones are a little better

-Bass sounds better (imo)

-Many tab corrections. I checked out an isolated track.

-Position changes based on how Slash teaches it himself

-Outro tempo is faster (216 instead of 208 bpm)

It sounds like he pinches the notes in the interlude section. Either that or his amp is on crank because I’m hearing overtones in those notes on the studio recording. I tried some takes with pinch harmonics and it didn’t quite sound the same. So I played it like he does live. My wrist is healing but very slowly. I’m treating it with heat, ice, exercises, and it goes into a splint at night time. I have good days and bad days. And I’ve managed to get back into playing guitar with only minor set backs.

Tone Screenshots

Here are some of my screenshots, so that you can see exactly how I achieved my Paradise City guitar tones. I matching the solo and rhythm section tones from the Guns N' Roses recording as closely as possible. Patrons can reach out with any tone questions you may have.

Isolated TRACKS (mp3)

Here are the drums, bass and other background tracks to jam along to Paradise City. I've also included all of my isolated guitar tracks in case you really want to hear what's going on. Isolated tracks are normally very difficult to find online, and can be very helpful in cracking a difficult solo tab.
