I’m sharing it not only because it’s a classic from the 90s, but also because I personally struggled to figure out the chords when I was developing my ear for music. So for anyone else in the same boat, this tab is for you! I’m confident that all the positions in this tab are accurate. I listened to the isolated guitar track for this song, and the only differences between my tab and how DeLeo plays it live are:
– In measure 6, beat 2, DeLeo slides back to the 2nd fret on the B string live, rather than playing the 6th fret on the G string.
– In measure 33, DeLeo plays the A major barre chord at the 5th fret instead of the open Asus2 (in the studio version, there is clearly an Asus2 being played). That’s it!
I really enjoyed playing this song. The backing track is especially fun to jam along with, and you can find it on my Patreon page. I also appreciate Robert DeLeo’s work on the bass lines, which you can clearly hear in the jam track.
