Am I. Evil?

Great performance from Jason again on this one. Here are his notes:

This is a special song for me. I remember when I was in grade 8, my friend called me and played the legato part at the beginning. I couldn’t believe my ears. I just had to get and electric guitar then and have him show me how to do it. So this song has a special place in my heart.

I only found out recently it was on a B side for the Creeping Death single. I originally heard it on the Kill Em All cassette so I just assumed it was on that album. It kind out sounds more like the Kill Em All tone to me. Maybe my ears are playing tricks on me?

For the tremolo picking part – don’t get too hung up on trying to play the descending part at the end. I don’t think Kirk lost much sleep about it and I believe he does it more as an effect than a thought out phrase. People slam Kirk but his early solos are really fast and exciting and he was super influential for me growing up.
