Unchained

It’s always a challenge when we do Van Halen songs. Eddie usually single tracked, so every moment of guitar playing is dripping with Eddie Sauce. It’s hard to replicate all of the personality he put into each and every note. I used the raw tracks that I found on YouTube and as much live footage as possible as references. In the main riff, Eddie mostly picks every note when playing live, but in the studio, I’m very confident he does pull-offs from the 4th to the 3rd.
