This one was covered by our fellow guitarist Jason Sheppard and he did a fabulous job on it. Originally written and recorded by Slade, this song was later made famous by Quiet Riot. It is a very straightforward tune overall with a memorable guitar solo that is definitely worth diving into.
A quick note about the rhythm in the first verse. Jason originally thought it was all straight eighth note chugs but after checking out an isolated track he noticed some subtle sixteenth note sub rhythms in there. It is a cool little detail that adds some extra movement to the part.
As Jason put it himself, this was a staple at the Bonavista teenage dance. He was blackout drunk listening to this song many a time.
