Screaming Suicide

Hey everyone! If you have only been listening to this song, I recommend playing it! You will definitely have a new appreciation for it like I did. There’s a link the my support page in the description. This was a fairly easy song to transcribe except for some parts that were kind of washed amidst the wah and gain. Really had to think hard and try to get it right to the best of my abilities. There are open pull-offs in the first solo and when I checked out the video for this song, Kirk was actually higher up on the fretboard. I figured maybe he was just playing whatever he wanted during the video shoot. That positioning didn’t really add up to what I was hearing in the recording. In the second solo, the troll lick at the ending – there’s a bunch of tri-tones and what sounded to me like a chromatic run at the end. That was really buried with gain and wah. Sounds cool though.
